Exhibition Information
The "biodegradable scenario" will display works that are released in animation and painting assuming the dystopia that current life will face. Dystopia is a term referring to a community or society opposite to utopia, and refers to a grim future in which the negative aspects are maximized. In addition, it is described in an exhibition that mixes the "Post Apocalypse" worldview, which tells the story of the arrival of civilization and humanity. I imagine the future of life when the objectification of life produced by capitalist logic is extreme, which is a bizarre chimera that evolved into the form that humans wanted to survive, but mixed with various animals. The ecosystem of dystopian animals has completely collapsed, and only the next generation can survive is creeping. You can enjoy the theme of "Animal Rights," which allows you to approach the narrative of painting in a moving animation, with a light heart. The four-chapter video is divided into topics such as the process of making a chimera, facing a chimera, running somewhere, and facing the day, and the individual contents are interactive. The scenario, based on the motif of a whale's explosion, turned into a strange phenomenon in which the bodies of whales washed ashore were decomposed and exploded into the shape of animals buried with foot-and-mouth disease. The scene where a large number of corpses decompose and explode with mushroom clouds leaves a strong impression. In a society where various thoughts and hatred coexist, the writer has many things to ask and hear. I wanted to create an exhibition space as a place to share stories in which the meaning of the work is interpreted differently by their backgrounds and lives, and explore in what direction the narratives of the work are perceived.
