Exhibition Information
I draw nature that is not natural. It depicts a disturbing foundation, growing on it, and the way in which one lives. The food chain is pyramidal. The top beings have the least number, while the bottom ones have the largest number. However, I feel that the world where they lie is in inverted triangle shape. The bottom ones below live densely in small places, and occupy a larger space as they go up. It seemed how this bizarre structure could be maintained. To grind down and maintain the center of gravity. Those who exist tightly in a small place so that even no one doesn't recognize when it disappears. - Hong Ji-yeon (Author Note) @hong_jeeyeon Just as there is a saying that there is no tomb without excuses, there is a story to each person's death. If the death is a suicide that kills itself, in many cases their story refers to a certain deficiency. I wondered what kind of deficiency there was in the suicide of a woman in her 20s who happened unnoticed. There must be a lot of reasons, each with his or her own reasons. There are problems that I wouldn't dare think of, and there are people who have the same problems as me. Some held out for a long time, some were spur of the moment. I likened the deficiency to the water that is most essential for human survival. Water dried up swimming pools, moist swamps, but sitting on dry land, waiting for dripping streams, and hoping to pool. - EG1 (Author Note) @easy_wooon
