In preparation for the exhibition of <Space War But Siesta>

I wanted to talk about the human desire (symbolized by nap here) in the embarrassing and unfamiliar Corona situation while preparing for the opening exhibition of the Suaenyo 339 Gallery in 2021. Also, I wondered what expression and attitude contemporary art would capture this phenomenon.
The movie "War of the Worlds" (directed by Steven Spielberg), which was made in 2005, reminded me of the movie "War of the Worlds" after thinking about how to capture the reality in the exhibition, as the non-reality that I've only seen in the movie became a reality and entered three years. The images of Spanish and Italian soldiers enjoying a nap on the battlefield during World War II, along with those struggling to survive aliens, passed through their heads together. It was as if countless people around the world were struggling with Corona, but on the other hand, it was still similar to repeating their peaceful daily lives, gathering around the Han River to enjoy a rest, and drinking in an enclosed space.
