Approximately 150 works will be on view, that represents the artist’s art world in summation. Each work, containing unique reflections on concepts such as – individuals and community, daily life and history, nature and humanity, society and culture – is closely displayed in rows and columns. The congregation of these connected units will create a spectacular scenery in the gallery. The exhibition will feature works from Things I Know, Moon Jar, and Mountains, which visualize the artist’s significant motifs through vibrant colors and friendly images; these motifs include Hangeul and English, the moon and moon jars, the mountains and home, birds, dogs, and humans – all adored with the artist’s sincerity. Also displayed are works from a new series The Moon is Rising that expresses the mysterious looks of the moon, which varies in light and shape over time.
