  • Artist's Note
The world changes when the way things are viewed changes.

The beginning of change is the moment when the way things are viewed changes.
The moments overlap and connect to create a new city.

The existence of things that are not looked at is faded from memory.
    But nothing is completely gone.
Perception and memory are mixed together to form ambiguous traces.
The cities that have disappeared so many times, the spaces that I thought were gone,
It is left behind as an "invisible cities," and a new city is built on top of it.

Coloring and erasing landscapes and cities over and over again.
In time and space, each of our memories is projected.
It is to reason for the traces of reality and images.
And the traces of that memory are in the way of what we see and the world.
It is an exploration of how it works secretly.

(What you see is what you get.)

Because it's in the shell of a dense symbol, the traveler thinks that the city will not be able to escape from Tamara.
They have no idea what they really look like, what they have, or what they're hiding.
Outside the city, the empty land stretches out to the horizon, and above it, the sky,
The clouds are drifting. In the clouds created by coincidences and wind, the traveler quickly became aware of it.
They are focused on distinguishing the shapes of sailboats, hands, and elephants.
    Italo Calvino, Invisible City, P23.

The word is 'a dense shell of symbols'.
If you look at it differently,
We may see figures we didn't know about.

What are you looking at now?
That's what you look like today.
