RATAVA
An avatar is a Sanskrit word meaning 'the form of self'. It is a Hindu term that means that God comes down to the earth with the human body. In other words, an avatar can be said to be a transforming incarnation that God borrows to come down to this world.
In the digital era, avatars in virtual space represent a virtual body, a new identity that represents itself. In this sense, the delegate of the digital virtual space is called an avatar. But it seems to me that AVATAR in digital space should be called RATAVA, which is the reverse order of avatar spelling. This is because humans now seem to be dreaming of gods crossing space and time in cyberspace and cyborgs. This is because God is not the incarnation for coming down to the human world, but the reverse order of the Avatar, that is, the incarnation of man moving toward the realm of God.
The distinction between reality and virtual, everyday and digital becomes faded. And it stops the linear motion in time and space and flows without boundary. In the time and space of the present reality, we dream of RATAVA. It is as if human beings are trying to become gods in the reverse direction of avatars.
* The body to be planned - The body to be planned is the human figure that Liu sees, and the possibility that the artist presents.
