Choi U-ram has been exploring the meaning and possibilities of visual arts with the element of movement, and for writers, movement exists as a device that reveals that a subject has life. Interested in machines, Choi presented a moving machine named 'Anima-Machine,' whose work changed from warning humans of excessive desire for machine development. Although "Anima-Machine" is the centerpiece of Choi's work world, it has been actively reflecting the writer's interest and research on humans living in this era amid repeated human violence and rationality in history. Choi began to gain international attention through the 2006 solo exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of Mori Art and the sixth Shanghai Biennale, followed by Tokyo Sky the Bathhouse and the New York Bitform Gallery. There is also the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Seoul Museum of Art, the Busan Museum of Art, the Samsung Museum of Art, the Ilmin Museum of Art, the Busan Biennale, the Gwangju Biennale and the Shanghai In addition, Choi Won-ram was awarded the Young People's Prize in Kim Se-jung, the Young People's Exhibition and Today's Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Korea, and the Museum of Samsung Art.
