Gana Art will open The Scattering Pine Pollen, exhibition of Byung Jong Kim, who has suggested a new model to Korean painting for his series of <Fool Jesus>, at Gana Art Center from 14, March, 2019 to 7, April, 2019. Kim expressed pine pollen which scatter in spring on Korea traditional Dak paper or canvas. This exhibition focuses on <The Scattering Pine Pollen> series and introduces new works made recently in particular. In his new work, Kim experimented new abstraction images using Korean traditional landscape. Kim’s works, which show austere beauty, contain our emotions and lives. This exhibition will able to appreciate Kim’s new series and works which is a reinterpretation of our and his life.
