The origin of my work is based on dreams and fantasies.
It's a pure aspiration for the hopeful future that you dream of as a child, but sometimes it's a little bit of a pessimistic nightmare.
You're also a baby.
As society has recently entered a more chaotic phase, only more pessimistic thoughts are added. The future is so dystopian.
It delves into the daily life of a mole and is eroded by anxiety and despair.
But if you're working with a positive attitude towards dystopia, you're going to have five minutes to kill yourself, and it's going to change.
No. Even in painting, I try to paint dystopia with little room for redemption.
The salvation that I long for in my work may be religious salvation, and in some ways practical salvation, but more.
It's a comprehensive salvation that Rams can relate to. I don't know if I'm going to have instant healing in my increasingly impoverished and exhausting routine.
Rather than playing with ideas that are just endless dung philosophy, I want to show my determination to overcome the reality with a solemn determination.
I don't affirm reality escape. That's because it's just putting off the reality of facing the terminal. We're going to be in the real world.
It has to exist and live through reality. But it's not just a question-and-answer, it's a real face.
The possibility that has been achieved in conjunction with reality is clear. It doesn't end in delusion, it can really be done in reality.
I long for that reality and keep working to affirm the possibility.
I hope the fantasy I face doesn't just end up as a delusion, and at the same time I'm serious that the future I crave is not a fantasy.
