			The 21st century is an era of empathy in which professional fields such as pure art, design and industry collaborate with each other. I think we desperately need an experimental challenge to explore a new genre."

Attempts to create new values by combining local artists' artworks and department store products with collaboration are being carried out by fashion designers and local artists. Designed to promote familiarity with art and textile fashion daily products and to enjoy artistic value together, the "Star Wars BORN" will be held at Gallery (053.420.8015) on the 12th floor of the Great White Plaza.

The special exhibition, designed to make it easier to enjoy and enjoy art in our lives, and sometimes to own small values, is designed to provide a variety of viewing opportunities for contemporary and contemporary art, as well as meet "the art you want to own." Nine artists and three fashion designers will participate in the exhibition, which is produced in T-shirts or casual wear using the artist's image and also makes everyday items such as scarves, handkerchiefs and pouchbags in a repeated formative pattern, to present some 100 pure art and art products together.

The theme of the exhibition is "STAR WAS BOR," which will include 12 fashion designers Han Hyun-jae, Kim Min-jung and Koo Jung-hee, artists Kim Sung-soo, Kim Young-hwan, Son Tangerine, Song Song Song-i, Lee Dong-jae, Lee Tae-ho, Lee Hyang-hee, Cho Mi-hyang and Han Sang-kwon. This means that the artists participating in the exhibition already have the capacity to be stars and communicate with the public through the development of art products. The planning and progress of the exhibition is handled by coordinator Son Tangerine, a textile artist, and has been contributing to the expansion of the art market through the development of various art products by artists.

Three designers, Han Hyun-jae, Kim Min-jung and Koo Jung-hee, who are working as fashion designers in Daegu, will showcase their collaborative artware produced with a unique sense. Han, who currently runs the brand called "Idip," will present original clothing made from leather, while Kim Min-jung, who is active through the "Scentriqlo" brand, will introduce fashion products with fabric as their address material through the development of their own materials. A variety of collaboration works by Total Fashion Designer Koo Jung-hee, who has continued to make brisk new releases through the brand ▲ & Co., will also be on display.

Kim Seong-su, a sculptor famous for his wood carving work, is exploring new implications of modern civilization through his unabated cactus, and Western artist Kim Young-hwan's paintings, terracotta, and Japanese sculpture are moving in contemporary reinterpreting contemporary paintings in contemporary words. It is going to present artwork that can be used effectively in life and others along with pure work.

When a work of pure art is integrated with design, new harmony of expression and new challenges are sought, I think a new formative collaboration is possible. While the 20th century has achieved detailed and professional development in each field, the 21st century is an age of experimental challenges in which these specialties seek to exchange and pioneer a new genre as a period of co-operation with each other. In this sense, "STAR WAS BORN" has more meaning than just an exhibition.
