Opening this Saturday on 15 October is CaiLei ‘s latest solo exhibition titled “Suprematist Space” at our Seoul gallery space.
Representative of his perpetual artistic philosophy, Cai Lei breaks through the conventional concepts about “sculptures”. Rather than directly presenting a visual spectacle, his sculpted forms require further interaction with light and audiences’ perspectives, ultimately arriving at an optical illusion boasting depth and dimensionality.
