			ARKO Art Center's thematic exhibition titled "Local in the Making" aims at redefining locality by breaking away from the fixed concept of local to a process where various social relations intersect for transformation and generation. Such ideas are built on the interest of solidarity and care, a complex approach to living, and a shift toward a new awareness about changing localities. The exhibition will examine various modes of generating and expanding locality through 14 teams of various projects under the foundation of building temporary artistic relationships. It includes intervening as an artistic activity in the lives and cultures of people other than their own residence, as well as on the new encounters and solidarity with neighbors based on a region.
