Exhibition Information

			This joint exhibition was first conceived in 2021 when the Export-Import Bank of Korea donated Chang Ree-suok’s painting The Workers of the Sea to the Jeju Museum of Art (JMOA), and it has been programed as two separate exhibitions, Part I and Part II. The first part of the exhibition Gla Jeju was held in the Gallery SAFE of the Export-Import Bank of Korea this past January with a collection from JMOA. The second part will showcase a collection held by the Export-Import Bank of Korea titled Highlights of the Export-Import Bank of Korea Collection at the Citizen Gallery of the Jeju Museum of Art.
This exhibition consists of fifteen landscapes from the Korea EXIMbank’s collection. The works of Lee Sang-beom, Chang Woo-soung, and Heo Geon who passed down the tradition of modern and contemporary Korean painting; those by Chang Ree-suok and Park Kwang-jin who have close ties with JMOA; and the paintings by Oh Seung-woo, Cho Young-chul, and Cho Kyung-whan, who depicted Seongsan Ilchulbong tuff cone, the azaleas on Hallasan Mountain, and other landscapes of Korea.
