			he project play, pause, repeat explores the relationship between the body, optical apparatus, and time.

Bodies perform. Videos are played. Photographs sport with time. Bodies pause. Videos are paused. Photographs suspend time. Videos are played again. Photographs repeat time. Bodies remember themselves.

How does art challenge the enigma of time? Is time an inevitable repetition or an accidental event? Is time my own or Others’? What is the relationship between the time of humans and machines, of artists and performers, of artworks and audiences?

play, pause, repeat asks these questions through the works of three artists: Eun Chun, Joowon Song, and Yanghee Lee.
