Exhibition Information

			Sungkok Art Museum is pleased to present Node: One and its entirety, a solo exhibition of Haiyoung Suh as part of the museum's program to support established Korean artists. Node, the parts of plant stems from which branches and leaves grow, symbolizes the connections between 20 years of Suh’s works from 2003 to 2023. Through examination of these nodes behind Suh’s accomplishments, we not only celebrate but also thoroughly explore the building blocks of the identity behind Suh’s works. Moreover, the alternative definition of nodes as connection points or singular units of networks, perfectly portray the recurring motifs of brick units and their collective forms in Suh’s works.
