Exhibition Information
Swing White Exhibition < TOKKI: Invitation to the Winking Rabbit Workshop > 2025. 5. 03 (Sat) - 6. 21 (Sat) / 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM * Closed Days [Sun, Mon] The rabbit leaves small circles and draws lines, creating an indelible flow. These lines hold no direction, no purpose. This seemingly meaningless repetition eventually becomes a pattern, and the pattern, in turn, forms the basis of a small world. Borrowing the rabbit's hand, Hong Hak-soon continuously joins lines. At first glance, it might seem as meaningless as a code, as impersonal as a circuit, or as light as dust. Yet, amidst things that hold no explicit meaning, small movements are always born. Open lines spread towards each other, and unclosed circles accept their own weight. The rabbit doesn't set rules or explain laws. Instead, it leaves loose gaps between codes, and something quietly emerges within these spaces. This May exhibition unfolds at the Swing White Gallery, set within a lush green garden. Planned to coincide with Family Month, the exhibition doesn't overtly proclaim warmth or speak of family. Instead, it illuminates a certain loose connection—an unexplained pull, a bond that isn't rigid—and its quiet strength. The exhibition space is filled not with completed narratives, but with open codes. Visitors will look upon a portion of the countless patterns left by the rabbit and discover a flow of their own within them. The rabbit smiles. That smile is neither kind nor cold. And without leaving any explanation, it draws lines again, leaves circles again, and creates yet another small possibility. Curated by : Cha Seung-hee
