			Space Willing N Dealing is proud to present PT & Critic program of this year which is a program to support young emerging artists. Through this program, participating artist gets an opportunity to meet and get feedback from the experts in the contemporary art field. The invited artist of the 12th PT & Critic program is Jung, Hyun Doo. Jung fills the canvas with abstract colors and lines which contain his body movements. His work is an accumulation of time in which the artist expresses such a sense using a brush and paint in response to the stimulus surrounding him. The title of the exhibition <The Face Throwers> refers to a form of series. The various paintings that will be displayed in the exhibition space are hanged on the wall in a certain order. Each work interact with each other and the audience pays attention to the artist's visual and sensory actions. The term “Face” in the “Face Throwers” signifies the most important part of an identity when viewed as a person or a metaphor for “subject” in a sentence. On the surface of his paintings, where “the face” or the `“subject” cannot be found, the audience focus more on the characteristics of the material itself, such as the traces of brush strokes and the color he used.
