Exhibition Information
Intention of exhibition In the second half of 2019, the Children’s Art Museum has provided a space for design education to experience how design thinking can help solve problems. Design thinking is the process of observing things and phenomena, finding the necessary elements, suggesting the right method, and drawing the results accordingly. Future society heralds the fourth industrial revolution as well as a new geological era To live wisely in a changing environment, the ability to solve problems with flexibility in the face of strange phenomena will be paramount. The imaginative power that kids develop in the design thinking process of solving problems on their own is a precious seed that creates infinite value for all of us, and a small force to build a wise future society. Good design must comprehensively judge thinking about human beings, the environment, resources, and so on. The beginning of design thinking is to explore the various problems observed and discovered in this process. We hope to share our imagination by creating a community space where consideration and sharing are practiced through human-centered design education for everyone’s life and sustainable design education for the environment. Exhibition details You can experience various areas of design that can be found in your life. like poster design expressing certain size and shape on paper, cloth to convey certain information; Textile design that creates various patterns of cloth used in our daily lives; Furniture design that makes relatively large objects such as tables, chairs, and bookshelves; Pictogram design that shows the meaning of certain places, rules, and actions quickly and easily. In addition, through the Children's Diocese designed by the artist, the relationship between contemporary art and design will be explored, and the children's results will be displayed together through educational programs based on the historical concepts that design has pursued.
