The seasons that show different facial expressions with the seasonal flow give us a colorful sentiment in the name of life. The winter, among others, at the end of the year and at the start of the year, brings together the time and time to live, making it easier to think deeply in everyday life.

Lotte Gallery’s winter plan "Elegance of the cold following a snowfall" features a colorful view of the seasonal atmosphere. The seven participating artists embody the seasonal lyricism of a Korean rice bowl, which is more traditional in the fall of snow, the mountain temple where snow melts, the hard-boiled Ssireagi hanging from the edge of a sword wind, the excitement of a girl for the first snow, the magnificent snow view of Mt. Mudeung and the winter of construction site, and the emptiness of a snowy day.

The appreciation of the winter scenery of the construction site does not look at redevelopment from a negative perspective, but recognizes it as part of a changing life. The artist, who says the construction site surrounded by packaging looked like a huge gift, projects the familiarity and expectations of the new location onto a pastelton-oriented screen. Yoon Seok-moon, who has talked about the loss of relationships and isolation of modern society as a character created by the abandoned teddy bear on the street, expressed the dolls walking along the snowy night road in hopes that we will not all lose this winter path. He says, "The figures of the dolls moving forward for life resemble our immediate reality." Lee Kwan-Soo, who has shown sensitive paintings with his crude texture and unique lyricism, depicts the winter scenery of Unju Temple, old gukjakjip, and briquettes with no residual lights. The shabby soup restaurant, which has a modern apartment as its perspective, evokes a cozy atmosphere due to the heavy snow and lamp lights.

Cho Jung-tae, who has painted connotative landscapes and portraits with high perfection techniques, features the winter of mountain temple, the winter sea where sea fog has fallen, and the snowy winter forest. Snow is melting in the garden of the hermitage. The morning light and melting snow that permeates the hermitage add to the landscape of mountain temple. Jo Hyeon, who has brought the old alleys, expressed the tree shadows reflected in the snow, the winter sireaegi and the Hakdong scenery on the snowy day. Sireagi, which has endured the harsh wind, implies the timidity of a long winter, while tree shadows reflected in the snow fields are bluish and cover the clear winter air.

Chae Kyung-nam, who has displayed a sculpture-style painting in harmony with the three dimensionality of the sculpture and the flatness of the painting, unraveled the excitement of the first snow into pieces. A girl enjoying her first snow with her dog on the day of the first snow, and a child smiling at the sky on the day of the first snow, described the purity and innocence of the first snow as a warm-textured terracotta piece.

Choi Jin-woo, who has been painting our land, put Mudeungsan Mountain in the canvas. He warmly embraced Mudeungsan Mountain, which he saw at Cheonwang Peak and Anyang Mountain, and Gubigubi Mountain below the summit, revealing his breath of innocence as a mother mountain.

From some time on, snow is a precious winter. It is a cold and cold landscape, but we hope that the heart toward warmth and serenity of life will be able to make meaningful contemplations through the year-end holidays, emotional winter scenery.
