Exhibition Information
To strengthen its capacity for a special exhibition and expand its role in developing local art, Suseong Artpia will hold its first theme-planning exhibition, "Ilusion: Primitive Imagination," at the exhibition hall. This exhibition is an exhibition that introduces representative Korean and foreign writers of hyperrealism, and will be implemented as if they are real through the dramatic reproduction of everyday objects. As in the theory of Jean Baudri-Lard, the French philosopher, "Simulation," where we live, this place is none other than virtual reality, and the modern capitalist society is dominated by an artificial replacement, "Simulacra," and we often visualize the experiences and the primary source of knowledge. This gives visitors an opportunity to access the essence, not an artificial substitute, by conveying to them that they seem to be looking at the world objectively but are looking at the images and concepts of a subjective world.
