Exhibition Information

We want to open up the concept of connection and expansion from the local characteristics of Sanjicheon, which have been the gateway of traffic between Jeju Island and the land since the days when we used sea lanes instead of the sky. The Sanjicheon Gallery also has a structure that connects the two buildings of Green Water Plant and Geumjang Inn. The connection of space leads to the extension of time and relationship. The exhibition’s title, <Moon to Connect Day>, means a day moon that floats white in the blue sky around the morning. Because the moon is a satellite that cannot make its own light, it gives off a yellow light supplied by the sun at night, but by day the yellow light gives off a white light as it penetrates the color of the sky. Through the installation, photo work of three artists, the film produced a 'scene of expansion' such as a daytime moon connecting time and space, neither night nor day.
