Exhibition Information
Exhibition Details A Picture of Blessed Mood Beautiful pictures of us ; Folktales The new year has begun. In the New Year when I pledge another start, I want my life to be richer than ever. The desire to make everyday life beautiful may also be the result of such longing. The Lotte Gallery will provide a place to feel the beauty of the beauty and tradition of our living culture in January, when the first day of the Lunar New Year is at the beginning of the year. The genre of the work is MinHwa, which will showcase the works of nine folklore writers working at the Gwangju Conventional Civilization Association. The folktales, which are imbued with honest and honest lives of the people, contain the notion of worldly ups and downs such as SuBokGangNyeong, wealth-making movies, and prestige-yang-myeong, as well as the desire to beautify the daily surroundings. In addition, unconventional freedom, unique optimism and humor are read in the original form of our traditional art. The folktales, established from the late Chosun Dynasty to the entire 20th century, have an power of popular culture against the conservative four-generation culture. The cultural growth of the people during the modern period has led to the reading of the times in their own words, and their unique freedom and dynamism have been projected entirely in various fields, including folk literature, folk songs and shamanism. MinHwa is a form that best represents the change from paintings enjoyed only by the four masters and the royal court to paintings easily encountered by the people, and its original beauty and freedom are symbolically applied to contemporary art. The exhibition will feature modern reinterpretation of books, paintings, and folk paintings that symbolize wealth, as well as books, flowers, and apostles who are familiar to us, as well as Morando, which symbolizes wealth, as well as the Maengho, which is known for preventing evil spirits and evil spirits. MinHwa, which takes on the character of a life's decorative painting, is a painting related to everyday space, so it has to go back quite far than the time when the format is prominent to find its form and its source of content. It is safe to regard it as a painting containing the sense of beauty and values of the Korean people for a long time, not just a vulgar painting of obscurity. I hope that the New Year will be a chance to wish for a happy new year through folktales that show the beauty of our lives and the pure nakedness of our people, and also to read each precious daily life with a sash.
