Exhibition Information
The series of "Dark Landscape" is a work that is designed to link nature between Korea and the United States like a piece of work. The scenery connecting Korea and the U.S. was described as a black forest. In the East, black is said to imply everything. The black space between painting and painting is like a black hole which connects space and time. The series of "The Forest of Healing" is still an ongoing project with a total score of 120 points, with spring, summer and winter produced in ink and autumn made in colorful acrylic colors. As I paint in the forest every day, I learn the greatness and ephemeralness of life and death by witnessing the dry branches, fresh green leaves and the rustic brilliance of the old trees, the splendor of the blooming flowers and fading foliage. -From Author Notes
