  • Before entering the exhibition hall, there is a huge picture of fire on the right side of the lobby. This journey begins with this huge pillar of fire which is likely to burn everything down. The fire that burns everything is the one that embraces extinction, regeneration, death and birth at the same time. Since a fire broke out in the artist's studio around 2015, burnt marks have often entered his paintings. The fire that came into the painting helped calm down the noisy world in the painting. How has the scenery in the painting changed? And what are the sparkly colored dots on the side of the pillar of fire splashing out to? It's something to check in the exhibition hall.
The first works to be seen in the exhibition hall, "Dancing in a rainstorm", and "As Close as possible, But Not Burning", look like scenes of explosion before the birth of a world. Various colors feast on a black background that looks like space. Various painting and drawing gestures such as spraying, rubbing with a knife, putting Matier of paint on it, and roughing the brush, have become the picture. The colors in these scenes continue to be used throughout this exhibition.
In <Time to Sculpt the Sunset>, we are under the illusion of seeing the Creator appear in the world I create myself, sitting behind the sunset and carving something. Is this guy the writer Lee Se-Joon? The various landscapes he's going to unfold in and out of the picture <From Another World...> ,as the title implies, will coexist in a cosmopolitan outlook. This dynamic world may be lurking in the light spots and bubbles reflecting each other in <In the New World> and <The Boiling of a Fishbowl>, the man's dream in the picture in <stormy eye and outside> , Or <The night hides the world, but pulls out the universe> If you pick up the branches of a fallen tree in the picture, you might be blinking your eyes there.
Arriving past the time of day and night, the painted walls are hung with small props drawn by the artist based on numerous layers of color that hold the sunset glow. These props are arranged as if a planet born in the sunset was embedded in the night sky, making the wall more suitable for the exhibition name Space Opera than anywhere else. After passing through the walls of the exploding universe, day and night, the face of Sailor Moon Usagi who lost everything. The face seems to tell us to forget everything we have seen here.
