			The exhibition compares 'Melting Pot', which means a fusion city of various races and cultures, to "Hot pot", a popular home-style in Asia. Hotpot is a dish where individuals choose the ingredients in the pot which contain personal tastes, intertwines with each other to create another flavor of broth, and in the process, individual choices and sharing create their own interactions among people in different cultures. <Down the melting pot> compares the speciality of mixed cultural exchanges to hot pot recipes. Into the melting pot, <Down the melting pot> brings together various images of 11 artists from different nationalities, including experimental video, video art, animation and documentary films. Artists elicit emotional chemical reactions with inspiration and geographical location from their cultural experiences. The artists' unique interpretation of private encounters with different geographical locations suggests that individual audiences ask again about the links between humans, places and cultures.
