Exhibition Information
A walker refers to a person who wanders aimlessly, and means a passive observer compared to crowd who performs purpose. I enjoyed taking a walk in the city, having drawn the city scenery for a long time. Alley or apartment complexes are more interesting than any other beautiful scenery because they have traces of people and can see patterns of life. Manseok-dong and Hwasu-dong have been frequently visited in recent years. Although it is maintained by urban regerneration, the old buildings in the back are filled with memories of a hard life. Sometimes, if there was a small space, they put in a garden bat or flowerpot, which looked good. Maybe that's what hope is like. I think growing flowers in pots is a point where humans and nature make peace. Do Ji-sung [Source] Woori Museum of art homepage
