Exhibition Information
Human beings and art, and the artificial intelligence involved in them, have brought the issues of imitation and reproduction, which had been discussed on an epistemological level, to a new level. Artificial intelligence and algorithms, which used to be used as creative tools in the field of art, are now implementing combinations of ways that artists have not predicted based on vast amounts of data. Creativity, which was considered unique to humans, also raises questions. Is AI now being given creativity? So what kind of relationship is there between artists and artificial intelligence? What is the role of an artist changing to? In this forum, we will experience the work of retriever (Park Seung-soon, Lee Jong-pil) <NUROSCAPEE> and discuss artificial creativity implemented in the technical media environment from a philosophical and critical perspective through soundscapes reconstructed with Kwak Young-bin (art critic) and artificial neural networks.
