Exhibition Information
A daily inner story captured in three forms. The exhibition was organized in the form of a group exhibition of three people. Painting Videos (Jung Suk-hee), stereoscopic installation(Cheon Seong-myeong), and pencil paintings(Goo Myeong-seon) have their own characteristics. The purpose of the exhibition was to create a novel or poetic imagination by expressing the same scene of life in a delicate and original way. The term 'Reality and Beauty and poetry' was used by Rene Huyghe(Art history, 1906-1997) when she explained art. Reality is the object of art, and beauty is the formative aspect of art, and poetry is written as a word referring to the core elements of art, which can also be described as the soul of an artist. In fact, for all the arts of poetry, fiction, painting, sculpture, and so on, humans naturally perceive the excitement from their works as a story that is connected to them. Epic is an inseparable factor for humans to even say, "No story, no existence." As the word "History" refers to a large narrative, however, we easily shed various and subtle sensibilities and feelings that fill our daily lives by focusing on stories that stand out in our eyes and have loud sounds and great power. Perhaps that attitude of life is linked to the reason why life has become mechanical, no excitement, and even meaningless. Artists are more sensitive to emotions and ideas that are difficult to express in words. And they try to express their feelings so that they can seen, heard, or touched (although sometimes they don't seem so). When the feeling is conveyed to the audience, it becomes the clue to the story and rediscovers the precious aspects of everyday life that they have experienced. At that moment, life is breathed in. And I think that's the most artistic moment. The moment art becomes life. A total of 15 exhibits will be displayed, including video, installation, painting, and drawing (33 works).
