Exhibition Information
Photographs of Shaman Ceremony, which have long been deluded while exploring the Shaman route in East Asia, have been widely publicized by Kim Soo-nam. But his photographic archives showed a variety of Asian natural landscapes captured in each process and Asians 30 years ago. His photos not only shine in Shaman's ceremonial robes, but also show that he is smudged by the sky, the earth and the people in Asia. The exhibition was planned in a total of trilogy, focusing on the everyday landscapes that exist in his Shaman route 'relations'. The photos on display will serve as an opportunity to broaden his understanding of the world of photography by illuminating only a small portion of the 170,000 photographs left by the late artist Kim Soo-nam, but which have been insignificant in public. In addition, it will be an opportunity to become more familiar with the public who had been struggling with his photos of Shaman. [Source] Sanjicheon Gallery homepage
