Price| Behind the social system, which is so natural that it is not normally recognized, is the sacrifice of members in the shadow, whose names are not even called. Lee Hwi-lin looks at the story of an individual who was not considered a priority because the gap was so still in the disappearing shadow and brings it out into the sun. In a world filled with wooden and iron frames, people feel comfortable, but in order to maintain their body temperature, they have to cover their skin, not stones. When iron and rock are cracked and deformed by the slow and steady heat weathering, the fibers are strong enough to trap warmth and wind. The strength of fibers comes from the structure. A single thread, combined with a regular arrangement, is determined to be impossible to lock into the shape of an edge, and even after covering another object, the shape below the fabric is revealed, or tension is loosened depending on the curve. Due to these material properties, the strength of fibers is not the force against external stimuli, but the tolerance of other materials and the elasticity of flexibility. The numerous threads contained in each piece are projected by small individuals who make up society. The shape of the work is more than what the author wants, but it is also the world we live in. The elaborately calculated structure supports the large shape to not collapse, but it is only a matter of time before the structure collapses and the work returns to the state of the material if a thread originating from a small and small wound is left unattended. Just as huge water is sucked into a small hole, the wrinkles toward the center of the work add speed and weight to the work that carries passive power while hanging along with the gravity. If you call the cloth simply, it is two dimensions, but the fine bumps created by restrained colors and wrinkles without exaggeration have depth reminiscent of the abyss of the sea, even though they are shallow curves like shadows on the moon's surface. Depending on the viewer's point of view, the direction of wrinkles and forces that add a three-dimensional effect to the work may be the shape of the center hole or be drawn into the middle. The mark left by the empty space, which was originally filled with something, is a broken balance, but immediately creates a new harmony. We do not live by predicting holes drilled into the surface of things regardless of their will. You can live in preparation for the loss of the moment, but the gap changes the overall structure and shape to the extent that it overshadows the contrast. Lee Hwilin adds materials and layers to the surface of the work to create empty spaces and margins, creating a twist that the absence brings. Each of the different forms of wrinkles in the grid that divide the work shows the life and society of a person who looks like in front of a fair and heartless time when each lives a different shape of life but does not write our story. The contradictory expression, which adds thickness to show shallowness and reveals emptiness through filling, is a paradox that makes the computational thinking leading to contemporary culture solemn, leading to immersion in the shape itself.
