Exhibition Information

			The Savina Museum will hold the first special exhibition of Oswaldo Guayasamin 1919-1999, which is considered Ecuador's national painter and one of the greatest writers of Latin America.

This exhibition is an international art event, and a total of 89 works, including the highest level of oil painting and watercolors and drawing, will be displayed by the Guayasamin Foundation, which is designated as Ecuador's cultural heritage. You can also look at the wide art world through interview videos and archives of the artist.

Through this exhibition, Savina Art Museum looks at the life and art of Guaya people in the history of Ecuador in the Yeokdong area and shows the philosophy and attitude of Guaya people against the oppression, discrimination, and persecution of the people. This exhibition will be the first to introduce modern art in Ecuador and is expected to serve as a springboard for cultural exchanges between the two countries.
