Exhibition Information
《FEUILLES》, Hwang Aram (Planner) Exhibition Introduction 中 《FEUILLES》 sheds light on Um Yujeong's exploration of plants, everyday life, and painting through 105 drawings of plants. Eom Yujeong has been conducting drawing and painting work based on various visual experiences while conducting field research and image collection for the past four years. The exhibition's title 《FEUILLES》 has two meanings, both leaf and paper, in French. For him, a series of processes that bring the object of a plant onto paper is not about separating what is a plant, what is a paper, and what is a picture. Rather, it is a series of constant worries and questions about the visual experience of discovering the object's realism, the steady pattern of daily work on the object, and the outcome of the quest that must eventually be faced.』
