Exhibition Information
Exhibition contents JJ Jungjung Gallery is holding a two-person exhibition by Kim Tae-ho and Shim Moon-seop from June 17 (Thu) to July 10 (Sat). The two artists create a new look different from the beginning of their work through a repetitive process of work. Through the act of self-removing what has been accumulated over a long period of time, that is, the act of shaving and covering it up, it allows us to see what we have not seen before. It is a structure of paradox that is rather revealed by erasing it. Kim Tae-ho cuts off the layers he has built, revealing several layers of color hidden within. Shim Moon-seop repeats brushstrokes to create new colors and shapes as the covered parts are erased and exposed. The finished work has no end and no beginning. To disappear is not to be destroyed, but to be recreated anew. (Source = JJ Jungjung Gallery)
