Exhibition Information
Meet Busan we didn't know It is a place where you can discover new things you did not know about 'Busan' that all Koreans think they know well. When people think of ‘Busan’, they think of the sea, but Busan is not only a sea, but also a plain along the Nakdong River and Suyeong River. Until the Joseon Dynasty, most of the area was farmed, and agricultural culture and marine culture coexisted, forming a unique cultural sphere with diversity. In addition, as an interchange between people, goods, and culture at the boundary between the sea and the land, various people and cultures mixed with each other and developed into the present city. The exhibition consists of 'Part 1, Intersection of People, Materials, and Culture, Busan,' and 'Part 2, Coexistence of Agricultural Culture and Marine Culture, Busan,' which shows the identity of Busan. About 320 items, including collected data, photos, and videos, will be presented. (Source = National Folk Museum of Korea)
