Exhibition Information
Through this solo exhibition, Lee Min-ji records the body(s) she observed while passing through the tangled time of the pandemic through the ecosystem in photos, videos, and texts. In a time and space where movement is not free and the body of one's own and of others is felt anew, the focus is on the body and gestures that vibrate minutely. Ghost Motion, which is also the title of the exhibition, is a movement that is not written on the sheet music, and refers to a gesture in which the drummer constantly moves a part of the body to match the beat of the song being played. In this way, the yoga practitioner repeats the movement while listening to the breath, and the performer plays his timeline by counting the beats by moving his lips slightly. (Source = Gallery Chosun)
