Exhibition Information
The exhibition “CHAOSMOS”, curated by the Goeun Museum of Photography, will serve as a venue to reaffirm the identity of contemporary photography through conceptual art, de-genreization, and diversity of expression. Also, I hope you will meet the beautiful works of Lee Jung-geun, who explores the abstract value and expansion of photographic art in her own life and pursues her own unique photographic aesthetics. Lee Jae-gu, director of Goeun Museum of Photography ¹ “Chaosmos is a combination of Chaos and Cosmos. It is a new concept created to overcome the existing opposing worldview that is divided into chaos and order, and it is a world of ‘order in chaos’ in which chaos and order overlap and complement each other.” Excerpt from 〈Aesthetics of Convergence through Discordant Stability or Harmonious Chaosity (Jinseok Seo, Director of Promotion of Ulsan Museum of Art)〉 (Source = Goeun Museum of Photography)
