Exhibition Information
A world of imagination and innocence based on reality. The works of writer Hong Bit-na are filled with imagination as if she was watching a scene in a fairy tale filled with secret symbols and metaphors. Each scene and object has its unique warmth and familiarity. It's new because it's all familiar and not unfamiliar. Accessibility is also easy because it is based on narratives so that do not require a long explanation. However, Hong Bit-na's works are not a diary. It deals with one's daily life, but it is close to a window that shows the aspect of universal life. It surpasses individual records in that it is a clue to reflect on our lives through the life of an artist. It is hard to know how Hong Bit-na's work will change in the future based on the warmth that we need in our contemporaries, where dreams and hopes, ideals and courage, love and interest are becoming more dull or diluted. After a long journey to an unknown destination, the starting point is now invisible.
