Exhibition Information

			Through the Seoul Photo Festival in 2019 and 2020, we have looked at the topography of Korean photography since the 1900s in a synchronized and diachronic manner, and this year, as an extension of that, the chronology of female photographers under the theme of 'women' is summarized, while focusing on the 1980s. Let's take a look at the women's photography movement.

In the 2000s, although the activities of female photographers have become more prominent, there is no data accumulation or research on female photographers.

Since no research on female photographers has been attempted in the past, I hope that this exhibition will fill the void in the history of Korean photographers and lay the foundation for the skills of female photographers by discovering and introducing the existence and activities of female photographers.
