Exhibition Information
When looking at [Walking in Seongbuk-dong, 1997], you need to look beyond the artist's point of view in the work and look at it from your own point of view. If the ordinary life contained in the work and the landscape of an ordinary city come to mind as a memory, the viewer is entering the city. At that moment, the city in the work transforms into a space of their own, and people begin to walk in their own memories. To discover and remember something of your own in the city, you just have to walk through it and observe it with affection. Now, here, I want to record the memories of Seongbuk-dong, the memories of the land that cannot be seen, the memories of the city, and the memories of the buildings. (Source= 17717)
