Exhibition Information

			The artist records the memorable things with the material of his work. Certain scenes passed by the artist produce another memory and image, and repeat that the moments overlap, becoming a new scene and engraved as a afterimage. These afterimages are shaped into works, giving us the opportunity to once again recognize our surroundings through the visual framework.

 

Especially in this exhibition, installation work is carried out by borrowing images of existing works. The branches, which were flat, were three-dimensional and brushed by us, but considering that this work was also individually flat, the artist once again changed our notion of traditional oriental painting, offsetting the boundaries between painting and three-dimensional works.

 

We hope this exhibition will serve as an opportunity for visitors to re-recognize the traditional and modern contact points, the boundaries between planes and three-dimensional bodies, and the beauty of the environment surrounding us.
