Gallery The Beam is pleased to present <Nujeong (樓亭), retaining the elegance of a scholar> by photographer Shim-Hoon Kim. This exhibition is meaningful to illuminate the world of artist Shim-Hoon Kim's work and to reflect on the beauty of Nujeong in Korea and the humanities meaning of Nujeong. The artist has been traveling around the country for over 10 years, capturing the essence of Korea on camera. Through this exhibition, we can confirm the artist's will to capture the beauty of Korea in photography.

Also, through the simple black-and-white photo of Nujeong, we tried to reveal the beauty of Korean architecture and the style of the scholars who worked with Nujeong. We hope this exhibition will give you an opportunity to soak up the beauty of Noujeong in Korea.
