Unlike his previous works, Hyunjin Kwon's 2021 Visual Poetry series exhibited at the Pyo Gallery introduces a unique change in dividing the screen into square units that repeat like pixels. On the other hand, three-dimensional works using various media also stand out. In particular, cube-shaped three-dimensional works that the artist attempts for the first time, and colorful sculptures that express a three-dimensional effect in a crumpled shape using wooden panels or stainless steel will be exhibited. In this exhibition prepared by Pyo Gallery, we hope that you can feel the dynamic world of artist Hyunjin Kwon, who is exploring and pioneering the future path of modern abstract painting that is still valid in the modern era, rather than staying in modern abstract painting.
