Exhibition Information

			When humanity first started to dance, dance and prayer had no difference. Though We Dance examines various types of mundane movements that are formless, loose, and slow through the device called “dance.” Though We Dance revisits the latent violence and oppression in the voice of groups that advocate communal values or solidarity and takes note of trivial movements that are infinitesimal but incessantly dawdling for the recovery of values in the mundane lives of individuals. More than that, it kindles a vague sense of hope to restore and preserve individual gestures, which have been lost and oppressed by the coercive force of group mentality. Though We Dance is a story about movements, flinching through the uncertain present towards a hopeful future.
