Exhibition Information

Damien Hurst is a world-class writer who continues to work on the theme of 'Life and Death of Being'. Among them, series of drugs and medical products are his signature works. In 2005, Damian Hirst published a collection of works called The New Religion, in a drawer shaped like a travel trunk. It contains about 40 works including paintings, sculptures, and silk screens. The works have interestingly linked drugs and Christian symbols, and in modern times, medicine is functioning as a "new religion" instead of the role of "religion" in the Middle Ages. The message Damien Hirst wanted to deliver to the New Regression 15 years ago is particularly valid and significant in today's global pandemic. Meet the 'New Religion' at the KOO House Museum of Art.
