			2021 Art Space Gwanggyo Educational Exhibition Project ≪Draw and See≫

Art Space Gwanggyo is hosting an educational exhibition project, “Draw and See,” which introduces contemporary artists and their works under the theme of 'painting', and consists of educational programs related to this, in the summer vacation.

 

 

The meaning of the exhibition 《Draw and See》 refers to the two acts of 'draw, paint' and 'see' a 'picture'. This refers to the way in which the artist discovers and interprets the object and produces the work, and the process in which the viewer appreciates and understands the work. Also, the conjunctions ‘and’ and ‘meet’ have a double meaning. By emphasizing that the reason for the existence of painting can be expanded in the organic relationship between the artist, the work, and the audience, it is an exhibition that considers together what it means to draw and appreciate today's 'painting' in contemporary art.
