From September 27 to October 6, OverLab.2021 ICC's first exhibition <Someone stole me> will be held.
Curator YANG Dasol, a participant in this program, majored in the Aesthetics and Art History, paying attention to human actions that create art, and is interested in works that explore the existence and inner state of human beings and realize them through exhibitions.
⟪Someone stole me⟫ is a collaborative exhibition with an artist based on the personal experience of the curator.
The exhibition contains a problematic awareness about the easy production and transformation of digital images in the online virtual space called SNS, and the attitudes and methods of users who are the producers and users of the abused situations and images.
SEO Jisoo, who works to visualize digital images of virtual space, intends to present a question about whether a single image can truly represent us through a sculpture installation work that reflects the historical and media phenomena in which it is not easy to distinguish the difference between the original and the stolen image.
