Exhibition Information
The World for All is an exhibition celebrating the centennial history of the March 1st Movement, and a new look at the meaning of the March 1st Movement from the horizon of the world's historical foundation and contemporary art. Beyond the limited interpretation within the binomial relationship between Korea and Japan, an attempt was made to rethink our history with the international reference of Cosmopolitanism. The exhibition started from the perspective of viewing the March 1 movement as part of the global movement against imperialism and as part of the human rights movement that has flowed with world history. The six participating writers have South African, Turkish, Japanese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and Danish nationalities and serve as a starting point for each country. Contrary to the diversity of nationality, the authors all have something in common that they focus on micro-stories that cannot be discussed in the grand discourse. And voluntarily, he is a batter and a minority. In particular, the exhibition focuses on factors that subvert the ruling ideology and reveals their identity under various state administrations. The desire and dynamism to escape from each writer's language will serve as an opportunity to reinterpret history. The exhibition, which was captured in the art languages of various countries, is expected to be a research center that places the March 1 movement in the movement of humanity rather than in the history of the world centered on the great power.
