Exhibition Information
This year, the 2019 A spot of memorabilia is a time and space to think about art as an extension of the artist's reasons, attitudes and learning beyond the predictable existing boundaries, starting with the question, 'What is art activity?' In the second exhibition, "Kim Tae-heon," which introduces paintings, the author's explanation of the artist's art acts is, "That's when the changing thoughts (the content) are carried out without the style of work (forms), without play (true, play, fight) and the desire for life and work to be free (extended)." Kim is known as a writer who has drawn images of work styles and content free from "choice and concentration," as he wished his own life to have been. As for his work, he said, "My work is more of a garden mixed with weeds than a well-groomed garden. Some of the work seems useless because it is close to weeds. As such, things that I don't know about are welcome if you just pop inside something new It's all the better if you can go far with them. As I've been working on things that have been forgotten in the last few years, my workroom looks like a world full of water. Things that seem to be irrelevant come out of the world and talk as if they don't matter." After the exhibition is scheduled, the writer plans to put together the various contents and formats of his work since the 1990s in one place for the first time, and displays a collection of material that he has worked on in the vacancy instead of reducing the contextual work. Among the scheduled wartime works, "Play" is an image of an elementary school textbook in the 1970s, and a textbook picture of the idea that no matter how smart they grow up without an amusement culture in their childhood, their lives can always become hungry and cause disaster. Also, "Don't Come to Work," is an exhibition subject that shows the works of painting and writing from 105 days of backpacking in Southeast Asia, starting with the writer's wife, Yeon-yeon, who suggested finding herself and quitting the company for her own absolute time as the main character of life, and is also a project with the same title published in 2016. The writer displays various paintings and collections of material together, and presents the memories of the scenery that the author had looked at, who wanted to be like a free wind.
