Exhibition Information
<Corner: Response and Response> takes the form of 'three exhibitions + one exhibition'. Each of the three exhibitions, which begin in April, June and September, presents the results of the work responded to by a total of 25 authors toward the physical and semantic special conditions called "corner or corner," which will serve as the focal point for supporting all exhibitions. By the end of 2019, the last exhibition will be composed of critical/faceted text and various works as a response to the accumulated work in these three sessions. The exhibition(s) seeks to talk about the viewer's attempts/attitudes to truly see or read the work piece. By moving away from asking questions by guiding means with specific answers(s) set, we hope that viewing, critique, and reciprocating acts will be given new energy and have greater activism and spontaneity. It is hoped that the space and time that is being adapted in an infinite manner against the work laid before the eyes can be extended and varied. It is hoped that the viewing can be more closely aligned with the work itself or the worker's creative process, and that the distance narrowing can also result in active criticism or circulating work processes. With collective orientation sporadically occurring and accumulating over certain unbuilt/ different times/ each involving the response to the 'corner' created by individual writers/ more than 25 tasks await the spring and reading that takes place at a closer distance towards them. There have been no established points from the start and the opportunity to respond is open to anyone. Let's hope that the act of watching or criticizing through Corners: Responses and Responses will be more like the process of watching and connecting stars in the night sky than looking for a manoristic maze.
