Exhibition Information

			Gallery Artcontinue is deligted to present of artist Yun Song-a's solo exhibition CAMEL: YUNSONGA from January 5th to January 27th.
In particular, the latest work, Black CAMEL, is a series that reflects the artist's new attempts through the work process, and can be said to be the result of Yun Song-a's expanded view of the world.

The camel is a symbolic animal representing Yun Song-a and continues to appear in the artist's works. The bivalve camels, which are usually found in East Asia, sustain their life by eating everything from sharp spiny cactuses to animal carcasses and leather tents left by nomads in desolate deserts.
The artist feels a strong sense of homogeneity in the camel's survival method and at the same time feels a desire to escape. The thick Matière that accumulates by repeatedly brush on the canvas contains the patience for life that the artist must accept.

The 20 achromatic camels, which sometimes appear in intense chromatic colors and sometimes cannot even know the colors they have tangled, reveal the artist's attitude toward the world without addition or subtraction. The symbols inherent in the work lead the viewer to the artist's inner self and ask fundamental questions about the consideration of life and the subjectivity of modern people.
